Sirino edges closer to Al Ahly transfer - reports

South African reports claimed on Monday that Mamelodi Sundowns' forward Gaston Sirino has come closer to moving to African Champion Al Ahly.

These reports spread out after his latest reactions in the CAF Champions League quarter-final encounter against the Red Devils, especially as the Uruguayan star wants to reunite with former coach Pitso Mosimane.

Doubts have raised among Sundwowns' fans after he was pictured after the game in an Al Ahly jersey.

Sundowns rejected Al Ahly’s first attempt to lure Sirino to Cairo in December 2020, and it remains to be seen if Mosimane will come back again for the talented attacker.

Sirino’s latest stunts came days after Mosimane confirmed that the only player Al Ahly made a formal bid for was the Uruguayan attacker.
