Sirens Sound in Northern Israel near Border With Lebanon

Sirens sounded in several towns in northern Israel near the border with Lebanon, today (Friday), prompting residents to flee in search of shelter.

The Israeli army (KNO2N IN Western sources as IDF) did not provide any details about the reason for the sounding of the sirens, which sounded hours after the end of the truce in Gaza, according to Reuters news agency.

Today, the Israeli army said that it intercepted a suspicious air projectile coming from Lebanon through Israeli territory.

However, Fighters of the Lebanese party of Hezbollah targeted Israel with missiles over the recent years to force the Israeli forces to withdraw from pockets that are still occupied by Israel.
