Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry receives, today, Wednesday, at the ministry’s headquarters in Cairo, new Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hussein Ibrahim Taha; To emphasize the importance of continuing coordination among the countries of the Islamic world, in a way that contributes to confronting the current challenges and achieving prosperity and progress for the peoples.
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, who kicked off an official visit to Egypt, met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and he is also meeting with the Secretary-General of Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
He is also scheduled to participate on Thursday in the meeting of The Islamic Advisory Group for Polio Eradication (IAG), chaired by the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb.
