Sheikh Saleh Kamel Excellence Scholarship Launched Under Arab League Patronage

The Sheikh Saleh Kamel Excellence Scholarship was launched under the patronage of the League of Arab States to support outstanding Egyptian students, in a ceremony attended by Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, Dr. Khaled Hanafy, and Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel, along with prominent officials and academics.

Organized in cooperation with the Union of Arab Chambers, the initiative reflects the League’s commitment to investing in Arab youth and advancing education as a pillar of sustainable development.

Aboul Gheit emphasized that education and artificial intelligence are vital for the Arab world’s future, warning against technological dependency. He hailed the Sheikh Saleh Kamel Foundation for its visionary role in empowering young talents.

The event also witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the foundation and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport to promote academic excellence and prepare a new generation capable of leading innovation and progress across the Arab region.
