Seven Palestinians were killed due to an airstrike on a residential building in Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This incident was highlighted in an urgent news report by the Cairo News Channel.

The Israeli military's operations in the Gaza Strip have been ongoing since October 7, resulting in a devastating toll of over 31,000 fatalities, with the majority being children and women, and injuring more than 74,000 people. The count remains preliminary, as many victims are still trapped under debris or left unattended on the streets due to blockades that hinder emergency and civil defense services from reaching them.

Civilian populations in the occupied Palestinian territories, encompassing the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, are enduring severe breaches of international humanitarian law. Israeli forces are accused of conducting residential bombings, destroying vital infrastructure, and employing a range of weaponry, including internationally prohibited arms like cluster bombs and white phosphorus. These actions have led to extensive loss of civilian life and significant property damage.
