The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather to prevail in the country, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to prevail in the South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime and in the early hours of the day.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 40°C in Aswan.
