Senegalese President Macky Sall declared three-day of national mourning in the country, starting on Monday, over the tragic road accident that killed more than 40 people.
In a tweet, The Senegalese president said that the accident occurred on Sunday in a village in the "Kfrin" region at about 3:30 am.
He expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic accident, stressing that he will convene a ministerial council to discuss road safety measures.
Moreover, he offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
