The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Tuesday's daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to prevail in the Northwest Coast.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally affect Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, limiting horizontal visibility.
Meteorologists also predict that the heat gripping Egypt the past days is expected to reach its peak across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 39°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
