50% Scholarships Offered to Students at New Giza University's IT College

The New Giza University “NGU” announced scholarships to scientific pision students, at the College of Information Technology, at a rate of up to 50% of tuition fees, on the occasion of the start-up of the first academic year of the college this year.

Scholarships to scientific pision students:

The College of Information Technology offers a program designed to provide students with a revolutionary and pioneering level of education that distinguishes them from others.

The duration of study in this program is 4 years and it covers in the first and second years the foundations that all IT students need regardless of the major they choose, then it strengthens in the third and fourth year of study the majors that the student wishes to pursue and work in.

The university affirmed that it provides 3 majors which are the field of artificial intelligence and data science, the field of computer science, and the field of biomedical informatics.

It emphasized that the study at the college works to achieve balance between the theoretical aspects and the practical ones; through lectures, educational programs, and laboratory studies which will be provided to students through training and qualification for digital industries, educational seminars to introduce students to online learning sources and modern tools, technology clubs, hackathons, digital challenges and competitions, seminars and lectures in which digital industry leaders participate.

Dr. Samha' El-Beltagy, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at New Giza University, called on students who are able to keep pace with developments in the field of information technology and to acquire new knowledge constantly, and have passion about the world of digital computing and technology in general, and want to obtain an education that provides them with the tools that make them distinguished in the labor market, whether locally, regionally or internationally, to join the University's Faculty of Information Technology, which has opened for applications for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The College Dean emphasized that, since its establishment in 2016, the university aims at creating a community of researchers, professors, and multidisciplinary students to enhance excellence and encourage innovation, also, the university aims to create a distinct educational environment full of energy, talent and cultural persity in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, Commerce and business administration, politics and economics, and information technology.
