Saudi FM, US Secretaey of State Hold Phone Talks

Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Friday, a phone call from the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

During the call, both officials discussed latest developments in Sudan, stressing the importance of stopping the military escalation between the conflicting parties, ending violence, and reducing the level of tensions in a way that guarantees the security and stability of Sudan and its brotherly people.

On his part, the US Secretary of State also praised the Kingdom's efforts to host representatives of about 40 countries recently in the city of Jeddah to discuss the crisis in Ukraine and find solutions to it.

In addition, both sides discussed intensifying coordination and bilateral work on many regional and international issues, foremost of which is the promotion of security and stability in the Middle East region, and efforts to lay the foundations for peace made by the two friendly countries in the region and the world.
