Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, Vice President of the Saudi Shura Council, met with Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the UK House of Commons, to discuss areas of cooperation between the Shura Council and the House of Commons and to emphasize the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations between the two bodies.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 10th Summit of Speakers of Parliaments from G20 Member States (P20), held in Brasília, Brazil, under the theme "Parliaments for a Fairer World and a Sustainable Planet."
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the summit’s agenda included topics relevant to the 10th G20 Parliaments’ summit, as well as a range of issues of mutual interest.
