Saudi Arabia has chosen to suspend discussions on normalization with Israel amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, according to reports from "France Presse."

Sources close to the Saudi government have confirmed this decision, stating that Saudi Arabia has temporarily halted negotiations regarding potential normalization with Israel.

This information has been communicated to US officials who were facilitating these talks.

The recent statements made by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding the evolving relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel have gained significant attention in Western media.

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen also mentioned that the framework for an agreement to establish relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, mediated by the US, may be finalized by early next year.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in an interview with Fox News, emphasized the importance of resolving the Palestinian issue for the normalization of relations.

He expressed his commitment to the negotiation process and his desire to see improved living conditions for Palestinians.

He stated that negotiations with the Biden administration are progressing and are seen as genuine and serious, adding that the ultimate goal is to achieve an agreement that addresses Palestinian needs and contributes to peace in the region.

The Saudi Crown Prince believes that resolving these issues will enable Israel to play a more constructive role in the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia is willing to work with any leadership in Israel that can advance these goals.
