Saudi Arabia has summoned the Iranian ambassador following what it described as Iranian attacks against the Kingdom and other sister states, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday.
In a strongly worded statement, Riyadh also condemned what it called Iran’s “blatant aggression” against the Sultanate of Oman, denouncing the move as a flagrant violation of Omani sovereignty. The Kingdom expressed full solidarity with Muscat and affirmed its readiness to support Oman in any measures it deems necessary.
The Foreign Ministry warned of the serious consequences of continued Iranian actions that infringe on the sovereignty of regional states, stressing that such behavior undermines security and stability across the Middle East.
Saudi Arabia called on the international community to adopt firm positions and take decisive measures in response to what it described as ongoing Iranian violations.
