Saudi Arabia on Saturday condemned Iran’s attacks on several countries in the Gulf and Middle East, including the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain, Al Arabiya English reported.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in strongest terms the blatant Iranian aggression and the flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the state of Qatar, the state of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” a statement by the foreign ministry read.
It stressed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity and support for the countries named and offered to “place all its capabilities at their disposal in support of any measures they may undertake.”
The statement also warned of the consequences of Iran’s actions calling them a “continued violation of states’ sovereignty and the principles of international law.”
Moreover, the statement called on the international community to condemn the attacks and take the necessary measures to “confront Iranian violations that undermine the security and stability of the region.”
