Saudi Actor Khaled Sami passed away at the age of 60 after a battle with liver disease, his son, Faisal, announced on Friday.
Born in 1961, Sami was brought up in the Saudi city of Buraidah in Al Qassim province. He began his acting career in the late 70th.
Sami first appeared in programs "Colored Papers" and "From every flower garden".
During his career, the veteran actor presented several works across the Gulf region, where he worked in the Syrian Bedouin series, and also participated in Egyptian works such as the series "Al-Nawat" with Ferdous Abdel Hamid.
His works included "Al Jawharat Wa Al Sayaad/The Jewel and the Hunter" (1985), "Bawabet El Metwalli" (1986), Harat Al Sukarii (1989), "Zainab's Daughters" (1990), and Leaving (1991).
