The Tunisian Football Federation announced on Monday that Zamalek’s midfielder Ferjani Sassi has been excluded fro the Tunisian camp due to his injury.
According to the official statement’s by the football’s governing body in Tunisia, Sassi underwent a medical test after the pain he suffered after facing the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
“Sassi will need a rest for ten days so he was ruled out of Tunisia’s clash against Algeria and Mali,” it added.
The Tunisian international was replaced during DRC match in the second half after suffering this injury.
It is worth mentioning that doubts raised about the future of Sassi with the White Knights after reports claimed that he signed for Qatar’s Rayan.
