Salah Reaches New Premier League Landmark

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah on Sunday smashed a new record by making his 100th assist in the Reds' two unanswered goals against Aston Villa.

The Egyptian winger reached a new Premier League landmark in his 116th appearance in the competition by cushioning a header back to Curtis Jones in the 89th minute.

Based on the above, the iconic Egyptian star became the first non-English player to reach this record in the Premier League.

Salah is chasing his third straight Golden Boot Award as he scored 17 goals this season in the league and he is only two goals behind the race leaders Jamie Vardy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

It is worth mentioning that Liverpool crowned the Premier League champions after Man City's loss to Chelsea

 to claim the first league title since 1990.
