Salah Joins Messi and Ronaldo in List of Best Players of the Century

According to a ranking published by Lente Deportiva, Salah has been placed in the top ten players of the century, alongside football legends such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, and Samuel Eto’o.

The report highlighted that Salah has not only become Liverpool’s all-time top scorer in European competitions, but also established himself as a symbol of African and world football. In the ranking, Messi topped the list with an astonishing 1,264 goal contributions (875 goals and 389 assists), followed by Ronaldo with 1,195 contributions. The list also features Robert Lewandowski, Luis Suárez, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Karim Benzema, Neymar, Thierry Henry, Mohamed Salah, and Samuel Eto’o.

Salah ranks ninth with 570 goal contributions, comprising 383 goals and 187 assists, making him the only Arab and the only active African player in the list. His achievements at Liverpool, where he became a Premier League and Champions League winner, underline his status as one of the game’s modern greats.
