The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday, that 3 soldiers were wounded as gunmen targeted their tankers in the southeastern Idlib region to stop the escalation.
The deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, Vyacheslav Sitnik, said, during a press briefing, that an armored personnel carrier of the forces was exposed to an anti-tank missile. The missile was launched from an area under the control of "pro-Turkish gangs," resulting in light injury of three soldiers.
He pointed out that the wounded were taken immediately to a military hospital, where the necessary medical assistance was provided to them, and nothing threatened their health.
