The Russian Defence Ministry stated that the talks, which took place during the Deputy Defence Minister's official visit to Pyongyang today, Saturday, focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in organizing military-political work between the Russian Armed Forces and the North Korean Army.
Goremykin emphasized the active expansion of relations between Russia and North Korea in many areas, including military cooperation.
For his part, the North Korean Defence Minister affirmed that the visit of the Russian delegation contributes to strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
