Russia has announced the registration of 8946 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 427353.

Russia’s national Corona control center said the number of deaths from the disease has increased by 92, to a total of 3633.

Russia is currently racing time to develop an anti-Corona vaccine. Moscow announced that its laboratories are ready to apply clinical trials on humans to an experimental vaccine against the pandemic virus.

It is worth mentioning that, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease COVID-19, continue to emerge.

People across the globe partake in self-isolation as an effective precautionary measure to protect those around them and themselves from contracting COVID-19.

Transmission of virus between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
