These remarks were made by Ryabkov during an event organized by the "Russia Today" media agency, in response to a question about Riyadh's role in BRICS amid the uncertainty regarding its participation in the organization.
Ryabkov said, "Yes, of course, Riyadh is participating in BRICS, and this has been an indisputable fact for almost six months. When the presidency shifted to Russia, we repeatedly welcomed representatives of Saudi Arabia at our related events, and meetings have been held and worked with everyone."
