At the "Army-2024" forum, Russian company Gromit showcased its latest innovation in military robotics: compact robots designed for laying anti-vehicle mines.

These advanced robots, known as "Gallo," are engineered to operate on four wheels and are intended to create smart minefields for countering enemy military vehicles.

Alexander Gavrilov, General Director of Gromit, explained that the Gallo robots are equipped to deploy TM-62 anti-tank mines.

The strategy involves deploying between 100 and 200 of these robots in a targeted area to establish a minefield.

In combat scenarios, the robots can also clear a path for friendly military vehicles before returning to their positions to continue their tasks.

The Gallo robot is mounted on a platform measuring 50x50 cm and features a system that allows for precise mine planting in designated zones on the battlefield.

After planting a mine, the robot proceeds to its next assigned task.

During the "Army-2024" forum, Russia also introduced a range of new military robots and weapons, including versatile robots capable of laying mines, transporting ammunition, and evacuating wounded soldiers from combat zones.
