Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya announced that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will participate in meetings to be held by the UN Security Council next April.
Today, Tuesday, RT Arabia quoted Nebenzya as telling reporters, "We expect Minister Lavrov to attend some sessions." The Russian delegate did not specify what sessions the foreign minister might attend.
It should be noted that Russia will chair the UN Security Council in April, as it will take over the presidency of the Council from Mozambique, which heads it this month.
