The Russian Embassy in Cairo announced on Thursday that Russia has provided Egypt with 8 million tons of wheat since the beginning of the conflict with Ukraine and will continue to do so.
This statement was issued in response to Ukrainian and Western allegations that Russia had halted grain supplies to Egypt.
The Russian Embassy's statement emphasized that Moscow's grain supplies to Cairo will continue at the current level without interruption.
It called for precision and a comparison between the small quantities of Ukrainian grains reaching Egypt and the Russian grains and bread widely available on Egyptian tables.
