The Russian army in Syria distributed 56.3 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Syria during the past day.

“Over the past 24 hours, 56.3 tons of humanitarian goods have been delivered from Russia to the Syrian Arab Republic,” Oleg Gorinov, the deputy head of the Center for Reconciliation in Syria of the Russian Defense Ministry, said in a briefing.

Two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred on February 6, nine hours apart, in Kahramanmaraş province in southeastern Turkiye.

The tremors, followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt in ten provinces in the country and neighboring countries, including Syria, where the death toll exceeded 1,400 and nearly 2,500 people were wounded.
