The Russian Embassy in Egypt announced today, Thursday, that the private plane of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies delivered 21 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip to Egypt.
The Russian Embassy in Cairo said in a statement that employees of the Military Attache Office of the Russian Embassy in Egypt and representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society received the Russian aid plane at Al-Arish International Airport.
According to the embassy statement, Russian humanitarian aid includes: emergency lighting fixtures, generators, medicines, and food.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry announced that it will provide 21 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza residents, including emergency lighting facilities, generators, medicines and food.
The ministry added in its statement that the humanitarian shipment headed from Moscow to Egypt, and will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.
