Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin met with outgoing Pakistani Ambassador to Russia Shafqat Ali Khan to discuss military cooperation between the two countries, according to Russian Defense ministry.
In a statment, Russian ministry added that both sides discussed the current agenda of bilateral military cooperation, reaffirming their mutual commitment to strengthening and expanding military relations between Moscow and Islamabad.
On his part, Pakistani ambassador also thanked the Russian side for its support and assistance during the implementation of his diplomatic mission in Moscow, according to the statement.
