Rustam Zhiganshin, the Head of Russia's trade mission in Iran, has announced the commencement of the first-ever visa-free flights for tourist groups between Iran and Russia.
“The first visa-free flights of Iranian tourist groups between Russia and Iran have begun,” Zhiganshin said as quoted by the local news agency.
This development follows a bilateral agreement signed in March between Iran and Russia, instituting a visa-free arrangement for tourist groups of up to 50 people, permitting them to stay in either Russia or Iran for a maximum of 15 days.
