Russian Ambassador to Egypt, Georgy Borisenko, said that his country is looking forward to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's participation in the upcoming 2nd Russian-African summit.
In press remarks, the Russian ambassador added that the next summit will be held from July 26 to 29 in St. Petersburg.
Moreover, he noted the leaders of 54 African countries have been invited to attend the summit.
In addition, the aambassador pointed out that this forum will deepen economic cooperation between Russians and Africans for mutual benefit and it will help increase Africa's role in the global system, which has become multipolar.
It is worth mentioing that, the 1st edition of this forum was held in October 2019 in Sochi under the slogan "For Peace, Security and Development".
