Russia Bars Entry for US President, Secretary of State

Russia decided to add US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to the list of Americans barred from entering the country.

Moreover, Russian Foreign Ministry announced banned the entry of Canadian Prime Minister (PM)’s wife Sophie Trudeau, the commander of the Canadian Air Force, Eric Jean Kenny, and 24 other people, including officials.

It is worth mentioning that, the ministry declared 27 Spanish diplomats, working in Moscow, persona non grata, in response to a similar measure taken by Madrid earlier.

Moreover, Russia announced earlier today, the expulsion of 34 French and 24 Italian diplomats from its territory.

On April 5, Spain announced that a decision had been made to expel 27 Russian diplomats from the kingdom, and they were given seven days to leave the country.
