Rubio praises the enduring alliance between the United States and Thailand

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised the enduring alliance between the United States and Thailand, which is based on solid foundations of diplomatic relations.

This came in a message from Rubio on the occasion of Thailand's National Day, which was published by the US State Department today.

Rubio said in his message, "On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of its celebration of Thai National Day."

He added: "This year, we welcomed the new Thai government, strengthened our bilateral relations to accelerate economic growth, expand investment opportunities, and enhance our security cooperation for the benefit of our two peoples. We also witnessed the signing of a historic peace agreement and reaffirmed our commitment to promoting regional stability."

Rubio emphasized that the partnership between the two countries promotes peace and prosperity in both, explaining that the United States and Thailand will work together to address the challenges facing the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
