U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot discussed the latest international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual concern during a phone call today.
The two ministers agreed on the necessity of working together to continue implementing President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, according to a statement issued by Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Tommy Pigott.
Furthermore, the ministers discussed the urgent need for a humanitarian ceasefire in Sudan.
They also agreed to maintain cooperation in diplomatic efforts aimed at bringing an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
