The Israel Defense Forces said it detected rockets launched toward the southern Negev Desert on Friday, triggering air raid sirens in parts of southern Israel.
According to Alqahera News, the Israeli Home Front Command said warning sirens sounded in the coastal city of Eilat and the Arava Valley.
The rockets were reportedly launched from Iran and were aimed at Eilat and surrounding areas in southern Israel.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, and Israeli authorities have not yet released further details regarding interceptions or the number of projectiles detected.
