The 30-year-old British singer, songwriter, and actress Rita Ora apologized recently for breaking COVID-19 lockdown rules after her visit to Egypt.

According to the Mail, Ora traveled to Egypt on November 21st for a performance in one of Egypt’s five-star-hotels before traveling back to the UK on November 22nd. As stated by the UK government travel regulations, she should have been in self-isolation for 14 days. However, the singer threw her 30th birthday party in west London on November 28th.

“I should have followed government advice and isolated myself for the required period,” Ora stated before continuing, “I apologise again, unreservedly.”

“I do realise that some might seek to follow my example. My message to them is simple: please don’t,” the singer warned people from repeating her mistake.

She also encouraged people to follow the government COVID-19 rules as well as the “voices of the heroes of the NHS” before promising to donate the money from her Egypt concert to charity and stating that she would take all the criticism coming her way because she deserves it.

Despite the fact that Ora received a huge amount of criticism for hosting more than 30 people in her birthday party including supermodels Cara and Poppy Delevingne, she claimed that she along with everyone in her inner singer tested negative for COVID-19.
