Two-time Academy Award-winner Renée Zellweger is set to star in a golf comedy movie "The Back Nine".
She will play a former golfer who set her career aside to make way for her husband's pro career and to raise her son. She decides to turn pro after her marriage goes downhill.
Veteran producer Amy Baer will produce "The Back Nine", which marks the first movie for her new label, "Landline Pictures".
Michael Patrick King will direct the movie from a script he wrote with Jhoni Marchinko and Krista Smith.
Zellweger and Carmella Casinelli will also serve as executive producers for Big Picture Co., along with Jhoni Marchinko and Krista Smith.
This will be the actress's first role since winning her second Oscar last year for Best Actress for her role as Judy Garland.
Furthermore, Zellweger is set to present the 93rd Academy Awards, which is set to take place in-person show at the Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles and at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, on April 25.
The ceremony will also feature the participation of Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Joaquin Phoenix, Don Cheadle, Regina King, Rita Moreno, Laura Dern, Zendaya, Angela Bassett, Bryan Cranston, Marlee Matlin, and Bong Joon Ho.
