Real Madrid announced, Thursday, renewed Nacho Fernandez extending the contract of Nacho Fernandez.
Fernandez will remain linked to the Royal club until June 30, 2024.
Real Madrid confirmed that with the renewal of the veteran defender for a further year, extending his time with the club to 13 years since his first appearances in the senior games.
During his time with the club, Fernandez captured five Champions League titles, three La Liga titles, and two Copas del Rey.
Fernandez received various proposals to depart the LaLiga, but his love for Real Madrid encouraged him to stay with the club for a further year.
Moreover, he will be the first captain of the team after the departure of Karim Benzema to Ittihad Jeddah.
