Engineer Rami Ghaly, a member of ISO’s TC91 technical committee and vice chairman of the Shabab Qaderoon Foundation for Sustainable Development, stressed that investing in youth and entrepreneurship has become a cornerstone of modern economic growth.
Speaking at the fourth Arab Innovation and Investment Forum, Ghaly said economies are no longer driven solely by mega-projects, but increasingly by small, micro, and startup enterprises. The forum was held under the theme “Toward an Innovative Arab Investment Ecosystem,” organized by the Arab League’s General Secretariat in cooperation with the Shabab Qaderoon Foundation and sponsored by several Egyptian ministries.
Ghaly highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment for young entrepreneurs through access to financing, technical guidance, and innovation-driven policies. He emphasized that quality and adherence to national and international standards are essential for competitiveness and export readiness, calling them a “passport” to global markets.
The two-day forum focused on strengthening links between entrepreneurs and investors to support sustainable development across the Arab region.
