Rafah land crossing in North Sinai Governorate received today, Friday, a new batch of injured and sick Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, while trucks carrying various humanitarian and relief aid continue to enter the Strip.
A source at Rafah port said that the 13th batch of injured and sick Palestinians began entering Rafah; in preparation for transporting them by ambulance; to receive treatment and medical care in hospitals in North Sinai and other governorates.
In the same context, he pointed out that various aid trucks began - since this morning - entering the Gaza Strip, numbering 60 aid trucks and 14 fuel trucks. He added that the heavy equipment needed to remove the rubble and pave the roads destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces during the 15-month war on Gaza; is still lined up for the second day in front of Rafah land crossing; in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip, during the coming period.
