The Egyptian authorities resumed the exceptional opening of the Rafah border crossing on Sunday to receive the wounded and critical cases from the Gaza Strip and to allow stranded people to cross from both sides, in addition to bringing aid, equipment, reconstruction materials, and Egyptian technical crews into the Strip, based on the directives of the political leadership.
This comes within the framework of helping the citizens of the Gaza Strip, to quickly restore normal life and start the reconstruction process, in light of President El-Sisi’s announcement of an Egyptian commitment to rapidly improving the living conditions of the residents of the Strip.
