Rady: Sisi, Ukraine's Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Issues

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received today, Saturday, a phone call from Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and discussed bilateral issues, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Zelensky affirmed the keenness to coordinate and consult with President Sisi in various fields, with an aspiration to strengthen relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

On his part, Sisi hailed the momentum gained during the recent period in the bilateral relations between Egypt and Ukraine, stressing his aspiration to upgrade them to include various possible aspects of cooperation, especially the food industries, wheat silos, ports, energy, and tourism, as well as establishing joint investment projects.

The two leaders also tackled ways to enhance bilateral relations, especially economic, investment and trade, in addition to advancing security cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests, as well as reviewing the developments of a number of regional and political issues of mutual interest.
