Queen Elizabeth II was spotted with a new look. The new photos posted by the official Instagram page of the royal family, depicted her majesty in a shorter hair-do during his meeting with the Governor of New South Wales, Margaret Beazley, at Windsor Castle.

Although the Queen is well known for her looser curls, the public praised the Queen's new hair style in thousands of comments on social media.

One of the comments said: "The Queen looks wonderful! Her new summer hairdo looks perfect." Another commented: "Love your new hairstyle, your Majesty."

A few days ago, Queen Elizabeth II made her first in-person meeting since missing the Royal Ascot with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Windsor Castle.

The Queen met Welby and he presented to her a special Canterbury Cross for her “unstinting” service to the Church of England for over 70 years.

The 96-year-old appeared to walk without a walking cane, and she uttered a short joke with her guest, saying: “I can’t move.”

Queen Elizabeth II became the world’s second-longest leader of a monarchy in modern times by overtaking the place of Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who reigned for 70 years and 126 days between 1927 and 2016, Sky News last week.

Her Majesty’s reign came the second after France’s Louis XIV who reigned for 72 years and 110 days between 1643 and 1715.

Early this month, the events of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II started with the Flypast, and Trooping the Color with the participation of the Queen and a number of senior members of the Royal family including Prince Charles, the Crown Prince, and Duchess Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, Duchess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their children.

The events of the occasion lasted for four days with different occasions such as Platinum Jubilee Thanksgiving services, and the Buckingham Palace Concert that featured Queen and Adam Lambert, Elton John, and others.
