Survey: Queen Elizabeth II Still Most Popular Royalty in UK

Queen Elizabeth II is still the most popular royalty in the whole UK according to a survey conducted by YouGov, media agencies reported on Thursday.

The survey highlighted that the fame of the 95-year-old monarchy is 98%, while her popularity reached 76%. The popularity of the Queen saw a slight rise after Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan Markle exit from the public Royal services, and the death of her husband Prince Philip.

On the other hand, the Cambridges are still the most popular Royal couple in the UK. Prince William came in second place after the Queen by 76%, while his wife Kate came third by 64%.

Regarding the crown's heir, Prince of Wales Charles, he came in seventh place on the list with 45%, while his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwell got only 36% which put her tenth on the list.

In the same context, the less popular figures are Prince Andrew of York who came in final place after some sexual harassment accusations by 10%, while the Sussexes came before Prince Andrew by 31% for Prince Harry, and 32% for Meghan Markle.

There are a number of Royal family figures who still keep their popularity balanced such as Prince Philip who is still popular among the British citizens despite his death by 63% in fourth place, and Princess Anne, the Queen's only daughter, by 55% in fifth place.
