As part of the World Cities Day festivities taking place in Alexandria this week, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, attended an artistic event at Qaitbay Citadel this evening.
He was joined by Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, and Anna Claudia Rossbach, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program.
During the event, Madbouly experienced a sound and light show at Qaitbay Citadel, which offered an engaging journey through the rich and vibrant history of the ancient city of Alexandria.
This show featured advanced lighting technology, captivating visual projections, and historical narration to vividly revive the past of this historic city.
Additionally, the Prime Minister attended an opera concert at Qaitbay Citadel, where the renowned Egyptian opera singer, Farah El-Dibany, performed a selection of distinguished songs in seven different languages.
