Russia's President Vladimir Putin said Russian weapons work efficiently against Ukrainian drones.

The Russian president noted that all these drones are foreign-made, which the West used over the Black Sea.

During an interview with "Russia-1", Putin mentioned that Buk, Tor, and Pantsir systems are operating with high efficiency in destroying dozens of Ukrainian drones.

The president indicated that all the drones that Ukraine uses are foreign-made, stressing that the West used these drones over the Black Sea before the start of the Russian special operation.

He pointed out that Ukraine is being supplied with various types of drones, but considered this a useless thing, commenting, "Unless you give us a chance to land them and see their devices and how they work... I simply do not see any other meaning in that."

In the same interview, Putin identified the purpose of the "fuss" about additional supplies of Western weapons to Kyiv, motivated by a desire to prolong the conflict in Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that since the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine on February 24, Western countries, led by the US, have sent billions of dollars in weapons and ammunition to support the Ukrainian forces against the Russian army, in a move that Moscow considered aimed at inflaming and prolonging the conflict.

The Russian president confirmed that Moscow does not plan to occupy Ukrainian territory and that the goal of the operation is to protect people who, for eight years, have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime.
