Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent congratulatory messages to heads of African states and governments on Africa Day.
In his congratulatory messages, Putin said that Russia and Africa together are able to ensure security all over the world.
“Our country has always attached particular importance to the development of friendly relations with African partners,” Putin said

“The summit provided that African Russian-held in Sochi in 2019, good conditions for the expansion of fruitful cooperation at the bilateral level and on a multilateral basis,” he added.
The Russian president expressed his confidence that Russia and Africa, working jointly, will be able to ensure the development and the implementation of many promising projects and initiatives in various fields for the benefit of strengthening security and stability in Africa and around the world.
