Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the importance of developing and strengthening Russian-Armenian relations today, Saturday.
In a congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day, as reported by Russia's TASS news agency, Putin stated: "Efforts to develop friendly and allied relations between Russia and Armenia, as well as constructive interaction within shared integration associations, will undoubtedly serve the fundamental interests of our peoples."
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also extended his congratulations to his Armenian counterpart, expressing confidence that "the expansion of multifaceted bilateral cooperation and constructive interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union fully serves the long-term interests of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia."
