Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Egypt and Russia will celebrate, after a month, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
This came during a summit between Putin and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in St.Petersburg.
"During those years and decades, relations between the two countries gained a special character, and we achieved huge success thanks to great efforts," Putin said.
"We have promising projects in various sectors in Egypt, and the volume of trade exchange between the two countries has witnessed significant growth over the past years," Russian President added.
