Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Monday that Kyiv's provocative actions against Russia's border region of Kursk will ultimately fail.
In remarks reported by the TASS news agency, Putin said, "I am confident that this provocative act will also end in failure."
He added, "We certainly need to eliminate those who have invaded our Russian territories in the Kursk region and attempted to destabilize our border areas in general."
