On Friday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won't be returning as working members in the Royal family, according to a statement issued by Buckingham Palace.
On the other hand, the Palace highlighted that the couple and Queen Elizabeth II agreed that the couple wants to continue their life away from any royal duties.
This means that honorary titles held by the Duke and the Duchess would be re-distributed among working members of the royal family.
However, the couple announced that they will continue to be committed to some duties, commenting: "We can all live a life of service. Service is universal."
Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to hold their first interview since they had stepped up their royal duties.
The interview will be hosted by iconic TV presenter Oprah Winfrey and will be aired on March 7 on CBS.
CBS expressed in an official statement on Monday that "Winfrey will speak with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure."
“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family,” CBS added.
The royal couple announced last Sunday that they are expecting a new baby.
The statement didn’t provide the expected date of the upcoming baby’s birth. They currently live in Southern California since March.
